Ralph Drollinger is one of the most recognizable figures in the California Capitol. At 7’2”, the former UCLA basketball center is hard to not notice. Drollinger started work in the ministry after an injury-plagued professional career in which he appeared in only six NBA games. He left basketball in 1981, never to return again. But it is a sport he truly excels in and loves.
Ralph Drollinger founded Capitol Ministries in 1997. He would usually travel to Sacramento from his residence in La Mesa to lead weekly Bible study classes in the Capitol. At its height, these sessions would draw up to 20 legislators, mainly Republicans. Within a decade, the group had added chapters in over a dozen other states. The group’s 2009 annual report listed 22 state chapters, and showed the group received nearly $2.3 million in donations. Currently, chapters are being opened in other state capitols and the ministry plans to spread its influence not just in America but in all parts of the world as well.

In fact, as of 2008, while Dr. Mark Antman was living there, the tax of the said property was reported to have gone up to $49,087.00. No one knows why he left the area together with his family, but it has also been noted that he was able to sell his home to a whopping $2,575,000 to a couple by the names of Daniel and Shari Post.
Seeing his mentor after all these years was truly something worthy of a celebration. He was so happy that he was willing to show him his Cartier reproduction horologe.
